Event Space Policies

  • The Pioneer Events team is not responsible for the following:

    • Trash removal from the space after the event or decor teardown. All garbage and recycling must be bagged for us to take out, and everything you brought into the space with you must be taken out.

    • Cleaning up spills or large messes. We will do a deep clean of the space after the event, but any evident mess must be removed before you leave (e.g. a bottle of wine spilled on the floor).

    • Guest check-in, serving, or any other dedicated duties. Pioneer staff is on-site to assist with venue-related issues that may come up during the event (e.g. troubleshooting AV), but cannot be assigned to tasks where they would be unable to attend to other issues.

  • The Pioneer Events team will provide:

    • At least one on-site event staff member.

    • Table and chair setup for the requested layout prior to guest arrival.

    • WiFi and AV setup assistance - sound, microphones, projector, etc.

  • Guests at Pioneer must agree to the following requirements:

    • All garbage and recycling must be bagged up for Pioneer staff to take out.

    • No open flames inside The Pioneer Event spaces.

    • The time window of your booking includes load-in and load-out. If you arrive before or leave after the agreed upon time, any additional hours will be added on to your invoice after the booking at the hourly rate which the space is booked.

    • All guests must respect and comply with Pioneer staff (e.g. if we ask you to turn the music down). Any failure to observe the rules will make you subject to a fee for not abiding with venue policies.

    • No drinking games (beer pong, etc.)

    • If a guest spills something, a staff member must be notified immediately.

    • No nails, screws, or heavy duty tape permitted to hang decor. The client is responsible to pay for any damage done to walls or furniture at Pioneer Event spaces.

  • Prohibited items
